 Syllabus

A Vocational Qualification is a recognised award designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and/or competence directly relevant to a line of work or specific job role.

Our courses are Vocational Qualifications, designed to equip learners with current and efficient skills that employers are looking for. The skills and competencies exceed the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Bookkeeping and Accounts Preparation, to cope with Modern Practices and Procedures. The practical element missing in other qualifications is acquired via the dedicated 3 papers in Manual, Excel, and Computerised Bookkeeping. There is no better Bookkeeper or Financial Accounting Technician, than one who can do it Manually, programme a Spreadsheet that generates Reports, and can do it extensively using the most popular Accounting software. We assure employers that our graduates hit the ground running. They don't need "On Job Training", all they require is orientation since there are some variations in procedures and practices with different employers.

Our courses provide learners with the knowledge, skills and/or competence directly relevant to Bookkeeping and Accounts Preparation. They are linked to the Qualifications and Credit Framework in England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.

Every unit and qualification in the QCF has a credit value. 1 credit is given for every 10 hours of learning time, for example, a unit worth three credits is equal to 30 hours of learning time. Learning time includes the time spent in the classroom, doing practical activities, carrying out research, doing homework or on a work placement.  It focuses on the average time time taken by an average learner, to acquire the targeted skills and or competencies.  Some may take less time or more time to complete but a learner does not get more credits for taking longer, or fewer credits to acquire the skills or competencies  more quickly.

Its on the basis of this framework that we award Certificates and Diplomas.
